The ACLU of Pennsylvania often provides speakers for educational events, panels, conferences, and school programs. We have an active speakers' bureau consisting of attorneys, community leaders, ACLU-PA staff, and board members who are well versed in a variety of civil liberties topics, including (but not limited to):
- Bill of Rights
- Free speech
- Immigrants' rights
- LGBT rights
- Police practices
- Religious liberty
- Reproductive freedom
- Privacy & security
- Student & youth rights
- Voting rights
In arranging for a speaker, it is helpful to call or email at least six weeks in advance to ensure that we can find you a speaker. We do not charge for speakers, although honoraria or reimbursement for traveling expenses are gratefully accepted.
