ACLU-PA Sues U. of Pittsburgh Over Student Group Suspension
The ACLU of Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit against the University of Pittsburgh over the school's suspension of its Students for Justice in Palestine chapter in apparent retaliation for criticisms that the group made of the university.
Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States. And based on his first turn as president and his rhetoric in the campaign, we know that he and his cronies are a clear and present danger to our most basic freedoms and to democracy itself.
So what does that mean for the ACLU, as an organization dedicated to defend people’s civil liberties? And what does it mean for the ACLU of Pennsylvania, as an organization that is largely working at the state and local level?
