The “ID me clinic” will connect transgender, non-binary and queer Philadelphians with legal professionals and social service workers that will assist with accessing “Real IDs.” They will help people work through common challenges they may experience with obtaining affirmative documents.
For many trans or queer people, having IDs that reflect their gender identity and name comes with many hurdles. This event is for you if you have ever experienced difficulty navigating the affirmative ID process, comprehending paperwork, or roadblocks because of criminal history.
This clinic will help you move through the process to get your Real ID a bit smoother.
The “Real ID” deadline is May 2023. People traveling by airplane or entering federal buildings will need a Real ID. Below is the schedule for the clinic.
