Dontae Gordon joined the ACLU of Pennsylvania team in May of 2022, serving as the Campaign Smart Justice organizing and outreach intern. Before joining the ACLU-PA, Dontae worked as a community ambassador for the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council. He has also collaborated with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, hosting food distribution drives at local branches in low income communities. In addition to his work around food insecurity and access, Dontae has been a staunch advocate for criminal justice reform - focusing on ending mass incarceration, probation reform, police accountability, and ensuring that those with criminal convictions know their voting rights.
