ACLU-PA Sues U. of Pittsburgh Over Student Group Suspension
The ACLU of Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit against the University of Pittsburgh over the school's suspension of its Students for Justice in Palestine chapter in apparent retaliation for criticisms that the group made of the university.
As more states legalize cannabis, including New York and New Jersey, Pennsylvania is at risk of being left behind, continuing to enforce an outdated, archaic prohibition regime that mixes up more than 20,000 people in the criminal legal system every year.
