Join us for an advocacy and lobbying training on Tuesday, November 19. The program will detail a spectrum of advocacy tools from online petitions, rallies, and boycotts to legislator lobby visits and everything in between. Presenters will teach effective techniques to use when meeting with your legislator. By the end of the event, you will gain an understanding of the legislator and constituent relationship and how to use your influence and power to advocate for issues important to you and your community.

Terri Klein has been a non-stop activist in the Pittsburgh progressive community for many years. As a board member of the ACLU Pittsburgh Chapter, she has been honored for her work on changing the sex education curriculum of the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
Jodi Hirsh is co-founder and principal consultant of Sequal Consulting. Previously, Jodi was the founder of JustAction, LLC, a communications and advocacy consultancy for nonprofits and political organizations. Jodi specializes in communications strategy for issue advocacy.
