A 2003 lawsuit against the Bethlehem-Center School District, challenging a policy that prohibited employees from speaking directly to board members, is still ongoing. The case also includes whistleblower claims on behalf of an employee who was disciplined for publicly disclosing computer-related problems in the District. The district court dismissed the First Amendment claim on statute of limitation grounds. The remaining claims are in discovery.
