Marianne Stein joined the ACLU of Pennsylvania in July 2019 as a Legislative Associate. Prior to joining the ACLU-PA she worked with the PA Commission on Sentencing as a Sentencing Policy Specialist. Her work focused on outreach and policy support activities along with tracking legislation. Prior to her work as a Sentencing Policy Specialist, she worked as a Probation Officer with Lancaster County Adult Probation and Parole Services. Before focusing on the criminal justice field, Marianne worked in the drug and alcohol field for six years. During the course of her career, she has directed a DUI client services program and a domestic violence program at a private counseling agency in Lancaster, PA. She also has experience facilitating trainings and treatment groups. Marianne graduated from Pennsylvania State University, with a B.S. in Psychology in 2011. In 2016, she earned an M.A. in Counseling from Eastern University in St. David’s, PA. (Harrisburg)
